Melbourne: MNTV Australia announced the second edition of its signature singing competition “Hall of Fame II”, and has requested for your honourable presence in their Press Conference.
As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to place us in an unprecedented situation, MNTV Australia, in a
bid to promote aspiring and talented singers has decided to host its second edition of MNTV Hall of
Fame II – an international online singing competition. MNTV Australia’s objective via Hall of Fame is
to connect the global Nepali community with the power of music, to hone the talent of our talented
singer, and to present to the world a gifted musical prodigy.
Hall of Fame will adopt the true spirit of friendly competition, and will be an example of recognition
of talent. For that purpose, our talent will be judged by senior and recognised figures of the Nepali
musical industry which include celebrated singer Deep Shrestha, lead singer of popular band Kandara
Bibek Shrestha, and popular singer Rajina Rimal. To connect Nepal’s youth with the initiative, Miss
Oceania Nepal 2020 Jemina Shrestha will be hosting the program and help MNTV Hall of Fame give the show a dynamic appeal.
The deadline for applications has been scheduled for 15th November 2020 and will encourage
participant entries from across the world. In the first round, 50 of the best entries will advance to the
next stage. In the next stages, participants’ performances will be judged via popularity and the panel
of judges.
The winner of Hall of Fame Season II will win a package of NRS 5 lakhs which includes a Cash Prize ofNRS 100,000 and an exclusive music recording in a studio along with a professionally recorded music video equivalent to NRS 400,000. MNTV Hall of Fame also has a dedicated website www.hofnepal.com. The site will be made public on the day of the press conference and will be used
to disseminate important information pertaining to the competition.
Hall of Fame has been supported by Mate’s International and Queensford College as its primary
sponsor with RGIT Australia and Ultimate Institute of Australia (UIA) as its co-sponsors. Similarly City
