The Victorian Government has approved a relief grant to Victorian Nepali Community Covid-19 Relief Taskforce (NRNA Australia, NAV, ANMDA, Consulate Office Of Victoria, and partner organizations) and to Didi Bahini Samaj Victoria (DBSV) with AUD 50,000 each, to support COVID relief work in Victoria.
These communities have ensured that they will continue serving the most vulnerable people who are impacted by covid19 through – Continuous supply of emergency food relief to the impacted – Mental Health Support – Hygiene Material supports – Continue supporting family Violence Victims in a culturally appropriate way and so on.
These communities have been supporting the Nepalese community from the start of this pandemic with all the available resources to support them financially, emotionally, and mentally.
They have thanked the Victorian government, community members, volunteers, partner organizations, media for their continuous support and encouragement during this tough time.
